Q. Who can attend?
A. Franchisees, Franchise Operators, Suppliers, RSC, Corporate District Managers, Company Operations Directors/Regional Managers, Franchise Business Consultants
Q. Can I bring a guest? Spouse?
A. Franchisees and Suppliers can bring a guest. The cost for a guest to attend is $750 per person. Corporate employees are not able to bring a guest.
Q. How do I book my sleeping room?
A. Once you have registered to attend, you will receive a link to book your room(s). We have two room blocks, one at the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and one at the Tampa Marriott Water Street. The room rate at the JW Marriott is $269 per night, and the room rate at the Marriott Water Street is $229 per night. The hotels are located across the street from each other. You will receive a link to book your hotel, depending on your attendee type. Franchisee attendees will stay at the JW Marriott, and Suppliers will stay at the Marriott Water Street.
Q. How do Checkers and Rally’s corporate office employees book their accommodations?
A. After approval from your ET member, please submit your request to Danielle Williams to book a room. You will be added to our employee block at the hotel during registration by entering your arrival and departure dates, and you will be notified once you are approved to have a sleeping room. It is not guaranteed that you will be in the JW Marriott. You will be accommodated in the hotel with the best availability.
Q. If I have to cancel, will my room be refunded?
A. This is dependent on when you cancel and based on the hotel's cancellation rules. Please be sure to review when you book your sleeping room.
Q. Is the sleeping room covered by the event registration fee?
A. No, you are responsible for hotel accommodation, fees, and taxes. Corporate employees rooms will be covered by the company.
Q. Where are the meetings being held?
A. The meetings will be held in the JW Marriott Water Street.
Q. What airport do I fly into, and is transportation to and from the hotel arranged?
A. You will fly into Tampa International Airport (TPA). The convention does not provide airport transportation. However, the airport is only 8.5 miles (approx. 15 minutes) from the JW Marriott Water Street. It is an easy UBER or Lyft ride.
Q. How many people can come from my franchise?
A. The number of franchisee attendees permitted is based on the number of restaurants operated by the franchisee:
1–4 restaurants: 2 attendees at no charge
5–9 restaurants: 4 attendees at no charge
10–19 restaurants: 6 attendees at no charge.
20+ restaurants: 8 attendees at no charge.
**Additional attendees are $750 per person.
Q. What is the cancellation fee and deadline if I must cancel my additional attendee(s)?
A. If you cancel within 30 days of the program, your registration fee will not be refunded. Before that, you will receive a full refund. Your room cancellation is up to the guidelines of the hotel's cancellation rules noted when you booked your accommodations.
Q. I have special accessibility needs/dietary requirements: can you accommodate those requests?
A. We can accommodate any special accessibility needs and all dietary requirements. Please note your specific need in the additional comments section of the registration page. You can also email Brooke@strategicconferences.net
Q. Is there an event app?
A. Yes, there will be an event app you can download with the agenda and all the details for the event. The link to the event app will be emailed to you before the program with the Know Before You Go details.
Q. What is the dress code?
A. The business meetings will be business casual. The Awards Dinner is a night to shine, dress to impress with a suit and tie for the gentlemen and evening attire for the ladies.
Q. What if I have dietary restrictions?
A. You can note your dietary restrictions on the registration site.
Q. Is there a golf event again this year?
A. Unfortunately, we will not host a golf event before the convention this year.
